Babies brain development starts at the time of conception. So optimum diet with all the nutrients in well balanced manner is very essential for the mother’s diet as well and it helps in producing healthy and superbrain babies. Certain fruits like avocado, kiwi, berries and different varieties of fruit to be taken daily in the diet and when the babaies are born, from 4 to 6 months onwards, they can be introduced to the babies food as well. So fruits are one example and vegetables. So mashed vegetables can be given to the babies. Certain vegetables like broccoli, sweet potato, pumpkins carrots etc are superbrainy foods and green leafy vegetables like spinach, collard , chard and all the green leafy vegetables, they are rich in folate, which helps to the brain and also the vibrant colours in the vegetables and fruits are rich in phytonutrients and antioxidants which help brain to develop further. Whole grains contain complete food in them in the form of B Vitamins , fiber and proteins and they are the superrich foods like the whole groan rice, brown trice and red rice and wheat, jowar, bajra, ragi, millets etc, they are to be consumed in the whole form and when they are introduced to the babies they should be cooked and mashed and then given to the babies. All kinds of nuts, especially walnuts, almonds and peanuts ad all kinds of nuts for that matter, they are very rich in Omega 3 fatty acids as well as in Vitamin E content. So again they are all brainy foods. They develop the brain much better. Greek yoghurt or plain yoghurt would just do because yoghurt , ghee etc they are rich in Vitamin B complex as well as calcium and proteins and B Vitamins especially helps in developing brain cells , protecting from any degeneration and Omega 3 essential fatty acids, they are also very important part of the diet now. Most of the times, we miss on all these type of nutrients, Omega 3 especially because of too much processing of foods, we are not getting Omega 3 from our foods. So we have to consider taking some supplements also for Omega 3, Vitamin B, Multivitamin, calcium, for the mothers that the child would get from the mother and the brain would develop in a good way, in a healthy way. So stay healthy.
